Visiting Guides

Visiting Guides enable children to have personal contact with both parents in a difficult separation situation. In the presence of professionally qualified visiting guides, children can spend time with the persons entitled to visit in a protected and child-friendly atmosphere.

Target group:

Parents of underage children (up to 14 years or in exceptional cases up to 18 years) in a conflictual separation situation, in which the parent entitled to visit can only maintain their visitation contact in the presence of a pedagogical specialist. The responsible court can also order or recommend visitation assistance. The offer is especially aimed at parents from the region of Innviertel.

Procedure:

Visitation can take place from Monday to Saturday between 8 am and 8 pm. The duration and frequency depend on the age and needs of the children and, if applicable, on the court order. The accompanied meetings take place on neutral ground in a suitable play and contact room at the Mobile Family Services team base, Pfarrplatz 1, Ried im Innkreis.

Costs:

Hourly rate and funding possibilities on request.

Objective:

After the visit guiding has been carried out, it should be ensured that the agreed further visit contact between the parties involved can be carried out independently. Visiting guides are a temporary measure that is intended to lead to an autonomous visitation arrangement.
