Housing for people with impairments

For adults, children and adolescents with impairments, we want to create framework conditions in the various residential offers that enable a largely independent and individual life. The intensity of care is based on the needs of the people with impairments. It ranges from a few hours a week to 24-hour care.

Housing for adults

Caritas has the following residential services for adults with impairments:

  • Fully assisted living
  • Partially assisted living
  • Mobile care
  • Short-term living
  • Intensive assisted living
  • Residential groups
  • Supported living
  • Peer counseling

These residential services are available in: St. Elisabeth in Linz (shared apartment, partially assisted living); St. Pius in Steegen (fully assisted living, partially assisted living, short-term living, accompanied living); Andorf (fully assisted living, accompanied living, short-term living)

All children and adolescents are equally important to us. We take the needs of the children and adolescents seriously. We work closely with the parents or legal guardians. We support the children and adolescents in their development.

What is the Mobile Care and Help?

 

Mobile care and assistance is a support for people with impairments who live at home with their family or in an apartment or shared apartment.

Short-term living

Short-term living is an offer for adults and for children and young people with impairments who live at home.

Short-term living is a temporary living option in a fully supervised residential group. People with impairments can come to short-term living, when their caregiver is unavailable and there is no other person who can take over the care.
